Directions

  1. Pizza Dough Method
Sift flour in a bowl and mix in all dry ingredients. Add the warm water slowly to the flour mixture. Fold in to form a dough and add olive oil. Knead until dough is uniform and smooth. Leave to prove until ready to use.
  2. Sauce Method
In a pot, fry onions and garlic until you smell the aroma. Add the tin of tomatoes with the cup of water. Bring to the boil, then simmer until water has reduced. Season to taste and add freshly chopped basil. Now blend the sauce until smooth. Your sauce is now ready to use.
  3. Pizza Assembly and Baking
Now that you have all necessary preparations done, the fun part starts. Pre-heat oven at 180 degrees celsius. Form dough balls, dust your working surface with flour and roll out to desired thickness. Use a plate of desired pizza size, place it over the rolled out dough and cut out the pizza. Place dough onto oven tray. Now apply the Napoli sauce and spread evenly onto the base. Sprinkle grated cheese over and lastly add the meaty toppings. Drizzle with a bit of olive oil. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees celsius for 10 to 15 minutes. Once done, remove from the oven, cut into 8 slices and serve while still hot.
