Shoestring Chips
Ingredients
Large potatoes, peeled
Oil for frying
Sea salt
Instructions
Heat the oil in a saucepan until bubbling.
Cut the potatoes in long strips with a zester. Be patient – it’s worth the effort.
Pat the strips dry and drop them into the oil. Fry until crispy and light brown in colour.
Place the chips on absorbent paper to drain and sprinkle with sea salt.
